It is made from 17-4 stainless steel via additive DMLS manufacturing, and is coated in an advanced hexagonal boron nitride coating.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt does three things:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003col\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIt features a redesigned indexing lug that allows for \u003cstrong\u003efour gas positions\u003c\/strong\u003e as opposed to the original two.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIt utilizes extended gas flow paths to delay entry of the gas into the expansion chamber of the Valve, \u003cstrong\u003eslowing down the cycling of the rifle\u003c\/strong\u003e. Position 4 of the OMEGA Valve Mod. 3 features a large tapered gas port to help ensure unsuppressed functionality.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIt utilizes Parker Mountain Machine \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.parkermountainmachine.com\/product\/pmm-scar-1617-stainless-steel-gas-jets\/\"\u003eSCAR gas jet screws\u003c\/a\u003e, allowing the user to \u003cstrong\u003event excess gas \u003c\/strong\u003eout of the front of the OMEGA Valve. You will experience a \u003cstrong\u003esofter recoil impulse, a less severe at-ear sound signature (when shooting with a silencer), and marginally\u003c\/strong\u003e \u003cstrong\u003ereduced\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e exposure to toxic gas\u003c\/strong\u003e, regardless of what ammunition and silencer you choose to use. Please note that the OMEGA Valve was designed to tune suppressed performance. \u003cstrong\u003eSatisfactory results can be obtained in the unsuppressed state, but this was never the goal\u003c\/strong\u003e.
