game changing performance
what it does
Instead of indexing on a ball detent within the gas block, it indexes on the gas valve retaining pin, allowing for four gas positions as opposed to the original two.
Utilizes advanced gas port geometry to control entry of gas into the system and delay the unlocking of the bolt. This drastically improves the at-ear sound signature of the system, smooths out the recoil impulse, aids in toxic gas control, and allows control over the system’s rate of fire.
Utilizes SCAR-style gas jet screws, allowing the user to vent excess gas out of the front of the OMEGA Valve. Gas jet screws are basically set screws with a small hole drilled through. Parker Mountain Machine sells sizes 1.20-2.00, and also available are my own Micro Jet Screws to allow even finer tuning of your system!
5.56, 7.62x39
The Omega Valve Mod. 1 model has been tested to work with the Sig Sauer MCX Virtus, Spear LT, and Rattler LT line of 5.56 rifles. It also works to some degree in 7.62×39 barrels, but it was truly optimized for 5.56, and so it is marked “5.56.” If you are running a silencer with your 7.62×39, you should be fine.

what about
300 blackout?
For 300 Blackout you need the OMEGA Valve Mod. 2. There are two options in the original lineup to choose from. The Mod. 2-S was designed to enhance reliability in the shorter 5.5″ and 6.75″ barrels. The Mod. 2-L brings a philosophy similar to that of Mod. 1, working to delay the cycling of the bolt. BOTH feature patent-pending vent technology.
The game changing gas regulator, evolved.
The original OMEGA Valve Mod. 1 was the first tunable gas valve for the Sig Sauer MCX. It was designed with the sole purpose of enhancing the shooting experience while using a silencer, and it accomplished that purpose very, very well.
MKII accomplishes the same goal, but with nearly a year of end-user feedback in mind. This is what that looks like.
